ARTIST BIO

Jay was born in New Jersey, USA

Much of his early years were spent in NYC where he, his friends and brothers traveled around New York being wild. The dive bars, strip clubs, hookers, homeless, city parks, late night strolls and rise of graffiti was where Jay would find the muses that would later become the characters in his work.

Jay’s belief that the raw emotion from those who have lived life on the fringes is the most honest display of metaphorical meaning and where he draws inspiration for the content he creates.

The storylines he shapes are often complex themes woven into an art piece for a wall or frame. His installations give the viewer/visitor a visceral emotion that sets the tone for feeling the mood of the environment he developed.
